Fimec
high frequency spindle motors are
motors for high speeds (from 7000rpm
up to 24000 rpm).
They are designed to produce high
torque, making them ideal for machining
wood, plastic, aluminium, marble and
glass for use in jobs ranging from
routing, drilling and sawing to cutting,
boring and grinding.
They mount precision, grease lubricated
bearings and sealed for life . They
can be supplied with a shaft type
P (inside collect taper with locknut,
as shown in the above pictures) or
with a shaft type L (cylindrical shaft
without a key, but with a locking
nut). Motors with shaft type P are
manufactured in a model called HM.
The HM spindle motor features a double
angular contact thrust bearing at
the work end or ceramic bearings,
with a single deep groove support
bearing at the opposite end (or, again,
a double angular contact thrust bearing).
